Need to know more?

Commonly asked questions are included below.

What can I expect from coaching?

  You can expect:

  • To be asked challenging and thought-provoking questions

  • To have discussions that enable you to explore what you really want out of life

  • To have a safe environment to pause and reflect

  • To do work that may include brief assessments or assignments if applicable to your goals

  • To be actively listened to so you can acknowledge your words and actions.

  • Highlight connections between how what you share relates to your overarching goals

  • Remind you to implement your self-care practice of choice

  • To be held accountable

What shouldn't I expect from coaching?

  • Solutions without doing work.  You get what you put into coaching.  You will not achieve sustained progress against your goals without commitment.

  • You will not be told what you should do or how you should do it.  Coaching provides you the opportunity to tap into your intuition.  I do not cloud that opportunity by leading with what I want you to do.  This leaves space to grow into the life your desire for yourself.  I may from time to time offer suggestions.

  • Job placement, recruiting, or resume writing.  I am happy to refer you to great resources in these areas.  We can sometimes shift to discussing more of these HR-related matters upon request but I utilize the bulk of session time to focus on exploring goals and strategically problem-solving ways to pursue them.

Do you offer any special rates?

Yes, I offer two rate specials.

  • I offer a reduced rate for nonprofits.

  • My pricing structure allows me to take on multiple pro-bono clients I work with complementarity to enhance coaching access.  If you are able to pay my full rate, you support access for someone who otherwise wouldn’t be able to have coaching support. â€‹

Are you certified?

Yes, I am a certified coach through the Academy of Creative Coaching.  This is a program approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  I also am a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
